USDA Forest Service § Impaired Waterbodies

Extent of waterbodies with impaired water quality is a required measure under the air and water indicator. The air and water indicator is under the human-caused change monitoring question for natural quality.

This measure is reported as a single value for report year.

The table below shows reported impaired waterbodies trends at each USFS wilderness using this measure. As ever, selected measures have filled grey circle, and colors indicate an upward, stable, or downward reported trend. Unselected measures can also be recorded, and are shown as hollow circles in the appropriate color.
