Acres of wilderness away from adjacent travel routes and developments outside the wilderness is a required measure under the remoteness from outside indicator. The remoteness from outside indicator is under the opportunities for solitude monitoring question for solitude or primitive and unconfined recreation quality.

This measure is reported as a single value for report year.
